The Price Quotations in Early U.S. Securities Markets, 1790-1860 data set was compiled by:

The data sets include prices of public securities (equities and bonds) that traded in nine U.S. securities markets and London between the end of the Revolution and the Civil War. The description document includes a basic orientation to the data, its electronic formats, its limitations, and two examples of its potential use. It also includes a brief bibliography and a full list of the periodicals consulted.
