HES: ANN--Joseph Dorfman Best Dissertation Award

The History of Economics Society is accepting nominations for its 
annual prize for the "Joseph Dorfman Best Dissertation Award". The 
winner will receive a stipend of $500 plus travel expenses up to $500 
to attend the presentation at the HES 2008 conference. All 
dissertations in the history of economic thought and methodology 
completed during the previous academic year (September 2006 to August 
2007) are eligible. To nominate a dissertation, contact the 2007-08 
chair of the committee, Mauro Boianovsky, at the address below by 
December 1, 2007. Please also send a copy of the dissertation (pdf 
preferred).

The selection committee comprises Mauro Boianovsky (boianovs at unb.br), 
Dan Hammond (hammond at wfu.edu) and Bruna Ingrao 
(Bruna.Ingrao at uniroma.it).
