HES: RE: QUERY--First Macro Textbook to use IS-LM?

One of the most (justly) popular macroeconomic textbooks in the '70s was 
William H. Branson's _Macroeconomic Theory & Policy_ (1967, 1972, 1979, 
1989)  which relied heavily on the IS-LM apparatus. Indeed the whole book 
was structured around it.  I remember that in the late 70s in the GRE exams 
if you could move around the IS-LM like a cat's cradle you could pass with 
flying colours the macro section.  No assembly required.
