A 'fallacy' is a particular class of logical mistake. Elementary textbooks  
give examples and classify fallacies. It is by no means obvious that any  
economic-theoretic theorem could correctly be described as a 'fallacy'.  
When the term is applied the intention is usually polemical rather than  
scientific.
