The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva
is proud to host the Eighth Conference of the European Historical
Economics Society (EHES), Geneva, 3-6 September 2009

Gino Luzzatto Dissertation Prize 
A prize of 1,000 euros named after Gino Luzzatto will be awarded by the
European Historical Economics Society to the best PhD Dissertation on
any subject relating to economic history written by a young European
scholar coming from any university and defended during the period August
2007 to June 2009. 
Copies of a 10 page abstract or of one paper/chapter from the
dissertation should be sent by candidates to the attention of the
Luzatto Prize Committee, ehes.conference at graduateinstitute.ch by June
30, 2009. Short-listed candidates are expected to make a presentation of
their thesis during the Geneva Conference (September 3-6).
