Registration for the World Economic History Congress now open!
XVth World Economic History Congress, Utrecht, the Netherlands, 3-7
August 2009
This congress promises to be an event no scholar in economic history
will want to miss.
Besides a total of 137 sessions on a wide variety of subjects, it will
include a dissertation competition, a poster session for young
researchers, keynote lectures by Daron Acemoglu and Vandana Shiva and a
closing debate on the origins of the Industrial Revolution by Bob Allen
and Joel Mokyr.
Online registration is now possible via the congress website:
www.wehc2009.org. If you complete registration and payment before April
1 the congress fee is 230 euros; for registrations after April 1 the fee
is 300 euros. For students there is a student fee of 125 euros.
