Call for papers for the Fourth Flemish-Dutch Conference on

The Economic and Social History of the Low Countries before 1850
Leyden, 29-30 January 2009

To present recent findings and stimulate new research on the economy 
and society of the Low Countries before the Industrial Revolution, 
the N.W. Posthumus Institute organizes its Fourth Flemish-Dutch 
conference on the economic and social history of the Low Countries 
before 1850 in Leyden, 29-30 January 2008. The organizers cordially 
invite graduate students, junior and senior researchers to submit 
proposals for papers that fall within the general theme of the 
conference.

Paper proposals (500 words) must be submitted before October 1st, 
2008. Submissions should be sent to: Oscar Gelderblom, 
oscar.gelderblom at let.uu.nl.
