The Epstein Lecture Series
The Epstein Lecture Series has been established by the Economic
History Department at LSE with the support of friends, colleagues and
alumni, to commemorate the achievements of S. R. (Larry) Epstein who
died suddenly at the age of 46 in February 2007.
The inaugural lecture will take place on Monday 3rd March 2008 at
6:30 pm in the Old Theatre at LSE and will be given by Regina Grafe,
assistant professor of European History at Northwestern University
(USA). The lecture will be followed by a reception. This event is
free and open to all with no ticket required. Entry is on a first
come, first served basis, and we would welcome attendance by any
members of the history community who are able to join us.
