The Business History Conference's 2008 annual meeting will be held in 
Sacramento, California, April 10-12, hosted by the California State 
University at Sacramento and the California State Railroad Museum. 
Its theme is "Expanding Connections for Business History." Over 120 
papers offered in parallel sessions range widely across the topics 
that now preoccupy business historians, whether the relationship of 
firms to society, marketing, politics, skill and technology. The 
program is now available and can be accessed at:

Everyone attending the conference is required to register. You can

All conference sessions (except for the Friday plenary and reception) 
will take place at the Holiday Inn Sacramento-Capitol Plaza. The 
hotel is in downtown Sacramento just off of Interstate 5. The 
Sacramento International Airport is just 11 miles away. Rooms are 
$121 single and $131 double and may be reserved by calling
