QUEENS COLLEGE, CUNY, New York, NY

The Department of Economics invites applications for one or two 
tenure track Assistant Professor positions in Economic History 
(JEL-N0) and Micro-Business History (JEL-N8) at Queens College, CUNY, 
in Queens, New York City. Appointment to the Doctoral Faculty at the 
Graduate Center of CUNY is open to professors at all ranks, upon 
review of publication record. Responsibilities include teaching in 
the undergraduate program and independent research. Applicants should 
have strong research potential. Course responsibilities include 
introductory and intermediate courses in economic theory and 
applications, and elective courses that complement the candidate's 
economic history research interests. Candidates must have a completed 
Ph.D. at the time of appointment (September, 2008). The ability to 
communicate well with undergraduate students and colleagues in the 
university is required. The salary range is competitive. To be
