Baruch College, City University of New York American Economic History

The History Department of Baruch College invites applications for a 
tenure track position as Assistant or Associate Professor in American 
Economic History broadly considered. The position, to begin in Fall 
2008, is one of ten tenure-track appointments to be made at CUNY over 
four years as part of its United States History Initiative. The 
successful candidate will offer undergraduate courses at introductory 
and advanced levels and will be expected to maintain an active 
program of research and publication. PhD is required. Rank depends 
upon qualifications. Candidates must present strong evidence of 
scholarly potential and a demonstrated commitment to teaching 
excellence.
