Intending contributors should first review the suggested guidelines for contributions. Articles and abstracts of theses (three copies) should be sent to: The Editors, Irish Economic and Social History, Academy for Irish Cultural Heritages, Aberfoyle House, University of Ulster, Magee Campus, Londonderry, BT48 7JL, Northern Ireland. Review articles (three copies), book reviews, and books for review should be sent to the editors at the above address.
MAJOR ARTICLES should not normally exceed 7,000 words in length, including footnotes. They may be on any aspect of the economic and social history of Ireland or the Irish overseas. If they embody the results of detailed original research, some space should be devoted to the more general significance of the subject matter.
REVIEW ARTICLES should not be more than 3,000 words in length, THESIS ABSTRACTS not more than 1,000 words, and REVIEWS not more than 800 words.
