In order to guarantee that all the work done during the past few years were not lost or remained without due recognition, all possible measures are being taken and efforts being made to have the scientific meetings of the XII International Economic History Congress gathered somewhere in Spain between August 24 and 28. We are waiting for the answer regarding the viability of these meetings from those companies which have been asked to present a project. We expect to be able give you all a definitive answer within a week.
